Gill Vaisey, managing director of Books at Press, offers a range of consultancy services to those concerned with children’s religious education and spiritual development.
A nationally recognised specialist in Early Years provision, Gill has a twenty year track record of providing consultancy to schools, colleges, education authorities, Church Dioceses and other religious bodies for Early Years and up to Key Stage 2.
The ethos behind her consultancy is to promote and support excellence of provision in schools and educational establishments. This is achieved through her innovative approaches and the development of novel and inventive resources that make learning more enjoyable and memorable for both practitioners and pupils.

Her extensive experience and knowledge has seen her commissioned to produce agreed syllabi for several local authorities and comprehensive support materials by the same for use by practitioners. Gill has also provided support to DfES for the development and delivery of various projects.

Gill has been an active member of the Welsh Association of SACRES since 1996 and is currently Vice Chairperson of the Association. Gill is an advisor to, and consultant for the committees of several
SACRES. She is a member of the National Advisory Panel for Religious Education, of which she was chairperson for three years.
She is a member of the UK Association of RE Advisers, Inspectors and Consultants (AREIAC) and executive committee member representing Wales. She regularly provides seminars for its members.
Gill is a trained assessor for the Religious Education Quality Mark (REQM).

Gill Vaisey, managing director of Books at Press, is a qualified teacher and Religious Education Consultant who specialises in primary and early years education.
Gill provides training for local authorities, church dioceses, schools, and nursery schools in both maintained and non-maintained settings.
Gill’s training sessions focus on practical, appropriate, enjoyable activities for the age group and require participants to come equipped with a sense of humour and be prepared to have fun!
